The Honor 9 and OnePlus 5 is the newest and greatest smartphone from Huawei and OnePlus per se and both are marketed for the performance it delivers. One significant aspect of both smartphones are its processor where the OnePlus comes with the newest and most advanced Qualcomm processor to date – the Snapdragon 835 while the latter features their “homemade” HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC.

Nonetheless, given that the Snapdragon 835 is a relatively new chip, the HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC released last year has did a decent job in getting its performance on par with the flagship SoC from Qualcomm.
