OnePlus 7 launched: HDR10+ rated display, 12GB RAM, 256GB ROM from RM2790

The long awaited OnePlus 7 is finally here! The OnePlus 7 was launched around yesterday midnight Malaysia time and it has a quality camera that is rated the third on the DxOMark!

The OnePlus 7 Pro offers a HDR10+ display which is also rated with an A+ score from Display Mate. OnePlus named it as Fluid AMOLED display with 6.67″, offering up to QHD+ and 90Hz refresh rate.

In the meantime, this smartphone also sports in-screen fingerprint sensor which complete the unlock process within 0.21 seconds.

One of the rear camera can capture up to 48 million pixels with f/1.6 aperture and OIS stabilization. The telescopic lens can support up to 3x optical zoom while the wide angle lens can capture up to 117 degree. It supports 3 types of focus zoom, NightScape 2.0.

It’s camera performance is even rated at 111, ranked third on the DxOMark!

The front camera could last up to 300 thousand elevation cycle and the camera will hid in place when the device has detecting rapid downfall acceleration.

As for device performance, the OnePlus 7 Pro offers up to 12GB RAM and industrial latest UFS 3.0 along with Snapdragon 855.

Apart from the usual gaming mode, OnePlus collaborates with the well known international e-sports professional Fnatic for the name in gaming mode.

The 4000mAh battery on OnePlus 7 Pro supports 30W Warp Charge that brings in 48% batter y in 20 minutes. The OnePlus 7 Pro also features Dolby Atmos dual stereo system in vibration motor for immersive experience.


On its software, the OnePlus 7 Pro runs on OxygenOS 9.5 based on Android Pie. The new software supports screen recording, Game Mode, 90Hz app support and soon to receive Android Q beta update too!

OnePlus promises 2 years software update and 3 years security patches on this device.

As for the OnePlus 7 standard variant, it is available in 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM, 256GB ROM with pricing from RM2690 to RM2960. Available in UK from June onward.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB with price from 649 pounds (~RM3499) to 749 pounds (~RM4307) respectively.

It will be imported to local market by 21st May this year.
