As we have step into April, OnePlus has unveiled their latest flagship which is the OnePlus 8 series. The new OnePlus 8 series brings 2K+120Hz display and offers Snapdragon 865 as its powerhouse. OnePlus also brings 30W wireless and wired quickcharge into the new flagship.

OnePlus 8 Pro brings a 6.78 inches AMOLED hole punch display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz sampling rate. The brightness of this display can reach up to 1300 nit. The display also supports 107 million colours and auto brightness adjustment up to 4096 levels.
The display is currently rated A+ by DisplayMate.
The OnePlus 8 series also brings Matte surface and curved glass body. It is available in Onyx Black, Glacial Green and Ultramarine Blue.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has a quad rear camera which composed of 48MP primary camera, 48MP ultra wide angle camera, 8MP 3x hybrid zoom lens and 5MP colour filter lens. The front is a 16MP camera.
The primary quad camera uses Sony IMX689 sensor which supports 3x hybrid zoom and 30x digital zoom. Furthermore, the camera is supported by OIS and EIS for image stabilization.
As for its video, the OnePlus 8 series can support up to 4K@60fps with 3HDR technology. It can capture details even with high brightness contrasting environment and offers 3D surround audio and audio zoom.
For its hardware specification, OnePlus 8 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and offers up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS3.0 ROM. It supports Turbo write and HPB technology and supports dual 5G mode and WiFi 6.
The OnePlus 8 Pro sports a 4510mAh battery long with 30W Warp Charge. It can charge from 3% to 51% in just 30 minutes.
The OnePlus 8 Pro also runs on a customized UI known as Oxygen OS. It supports new dark mode and comes with dynamic wallpaper and change based on the weather. There is also dual stereo surround system along with Haptic Vibration 2.0 feedback.
OnePlus also announces its collaboration of Google which the OnePlus 8 supports Google Stadia cloud gaming services. You can play AAA rated tittle on your smartphone!
And there is OnePlus 8. It has 6.55″ 2400 x 1080 display with 90Hz refresh rate, 1100 nits of brightness and HDR10/10+ certified. The body is just 8mm thick and weighted at 180g. It is available in black, green and aurora gradient.
The OnePlus 8 is also powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC with UFS 3.0, 4300mAh battery & 30W quickcharge. It also has 48MP (IMX586) camera + 16MP ultra wide angle + macro camera on the back. There is also 16MP front facing camera.
Other feature such as dual stereo and Haptic Vibration 2.0 is preserved.
The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro is available in two edition for both. The OnePlus 8 8GB starts at US$699 and the 12GB is at US$799. The OnePlus 8 Pro 8GB is at $899 while the 12GB is at $999.
