Recently, an infamous leaker Max J has shown a photo teaser of the budget friendly OnePlus 8 model. This mid-range model is known as OnePlus Z which will be surfaced on the market on July 2020 onward. This source should be pretty accurate because Max J has a track record of revealing OnePlus smartphone.
OnePlus Z (or OnePlus 8 Lite) is designed to enter budget friendly and high performance per price market. It still shares the same design as OnePlus 8 but the configuration is no longer the same.
The first difference goes location of front facing camera which is now centered on the display. There will be no curved display but it still have a 6.4 inches FHD+ display and possibly with 90Hz refresh rate. There is a triple rear camera on the upper left of the rear panel.
The OnePlus Z is allegedly powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000L processor. The Dimensity 1000L uses A77 as primary core with 20% higher performance than A76. It is also accompanied with Mali G77 GPU.
As for its naming convention, this could related to the OnePlus X being its previous budget friendly model. Moreover, we might be seeing this on July.
