As Android Pay has officially available in US and european countries years ago, the Android mobile payment technology is now officially available in Singapore, as the first Asian countries to support this new mobile payment technology. Now you can pay cashless and cardless with your Android smartphone!
The Android Pay functionality is available in almost all NFC enabled smartphones. It doesn’t requires fingerprint authentication such as Samsung Pay and Apple Wallet as user just have to register their payment information through the Android Pay app.
Currently, Android Pay is being supported on Singapore bank such as DBS, OCBC, POSB, Standard Chartered and UOB. It can be used for pruchase on McDonald’s, NTUC Fair Price, Sheng Siong, Giant and Watsons.
Besides, Uber, Grab, Zalora, Singapore Airlines, Shopee and Deliveroo will be supporting the Android Pay in Singapore.
