With the increasing banks and local merchants that supports wireless and cardless payment with Samsung Pay, it is one of the Malaysian’s favourite way of cashless and card-less transaction to purchase goods. Samsung Pay that requires fingerprint authentication for authorizing transaction has proven a solid ground in its security and protection against unauthorized users. Thus, Petronas also joins the support for Samsung Pay and it has now enabled the new card-less payment method in more than 1000 petrol kiosk nationwide.
To complete the payment process, you can simply visit Kedai Mesra counter and perform a few taps on mobile phone similarly with other Samsung Pay process. It is also a new, safe and convenient way to purchase petrol without cash nor card.
In the meantime, Petronas will be giving away a new Samsung Galaxy S8 and a RM150 gift card if you purchase petrol with Samsung Pay within the period.
