Qualcomm collaborates with ASUS for the “Snapdragon Insiders” smartphone: 144Hz display, 64MP triple rear camera, 65W quickcharge for RM6276

Earlier this March, Qualcomm has set up a fan club call Snapdragon Insiders which gathered over 1.6 million fans in the forum. These forum provide newest information on the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.  In the meantime, Qualcomm has collaborated with ASUS to create their first smartphone known as “Snapdragon Insiders”.


Insiders Smartphone is manufactured by ASUS and weighted around 210g. It is available in midnight blue and supports Bluetooth earphone that supports Snapdragon Sound technology. It also comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 charging adapter for wired charging.

Insider Smartphone features 6.78 inches Samsung AMOLED display with resolution at 2448 x 1080 and refresh rate at 144Hz. It uses Corning Gorilla Glass for screen protection and support Always On display.

There triple 64MP camera consists of a 64MP primary camrea followed by 12MP wide angle lens and a 3 times magnifying telescopic lens. It also uses Qualcomm AI software for auto focus and AI object tracking.


Apart from the camera, the Snapdragon Insiders smartphone also has the Snapdragon logo on the rear panel and uses Qualcomm 2nd generation fingerprint scanner. Qualcomm stated that they didn’t employ in-screen fingerprint due to the OLED display compatibility with the scanner.


Insiders Smartphone also features Snapdragon 888 SOC with 512GB UFS 3.1 storage and 16GB LPDDR5. It also has a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm QC 5.0 that supports 65W quickcharge, complete the charge within 50 minutes.

This smartphone is a showcase of Qualcomm Snapdragon technology and will be available for country includes China, US, Germany, UK, Japan, Korea and India which retails at $1499.
