Qualcomm had officially announced that they will be launching the successor variant of the Snapdragon 820 processor – Snapdragon 821 that comes with a clock speed at 2.4Ghz. The new SoC is designed for better performance and lower battery consumption to provide an efficient energy output.
Similar with Snapdragon 820, the S821 comes with 4 Kyro core but it is clocked slightly higher at 2.4Ghz. This is 10% more performance than the previous SoC that fulfills the demanding computing needs from software today.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC is now being used over 115 smartphone models, and tablet which including the latest Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, LG G5, Xiaomi Mi 5, HTC 10 etc. Qualcomm stated that their S820 processor has provide a great performance and efficiency over time for smartphone and gadget user in the mobile industry today.
