Earlier today, realme Malaysia has launched an all new mid-range smartphone known as realme 6i. This new realme smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, 48MP quad camera, 16MP front facing camera, 5000mAh battery and more. Let’s have a closer look.

Our realme 6i review unit is the green. In the rear panel the quad camera is aligned vertically on the top left corner. The rear panel is designed by Naota Fukasawa and it is available in white apart of blue. The edges are smoothed out offering a classic look.
The quad camera design represents the lineage of the realme family. It is composed of 48MP primary camera, 8MP utlra wide angle camera, 2MP portrait mode and 2 MP macro lens. Given the camera per price, this is certain a smartphone with great value for tight budgets.
On th eleft we can see the SIM slot and volume rocker while the power button is on the right. Despite it is green in body, the colour of the body frame offers another level of green.
At the bottom comes the USB Type C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. Realme 6i offers a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W quickcharge. Given the battery capacity, the battery life on this smartphone should be pretty decent.
As for its display, it has a 6.5″ dew drop display with screen to body ratio at 89.8%. There aren’t any huge significance on the body apart noticeable thin bezels.
The realme 6i is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and offers up to 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM with realme UI system.
The realme 6i is offered in 3+64GB and 4+128GB variant. The 3GB variant will be available on Shopee on 23th April which retails at RM699. If you grab it on the first day, you can save RM100 for just RM599!
The 4GB variant will be available on 25th April through authorized distributor nationwide and retails at RM899.
