Back in 2016, the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco has alerted the mobile industry on the importance of quality control of each product. With the recall of Note 7 worldwide, Samsung has relaunched the Note 7 with a new name as Note FE which is first offered in Korea. The Note FE is the refurbished version of Galaxy Note 7 and it comes with a smaller battery capacity at 3200mAh and has undergone 8 safety tests.

The Galaxy Note FE is the short form of Fan Edition which is printed beneath the rear glass panel. The Note FE is based from the Note 7 which shares identical design. It also has a dual curved display with 16:9 aspect ratio, despite not as fancy as the 18:9 ratio display from Note 8 or S8.
The 5MP front camera is a decent selfie cam.
Ahh! The good ol buttons with integrated fingerprint sensor on the Home button.

The 12MP dual pixel camera has a 1.4micron sensor with aperture as large as f/1.7.
The S-Pen comes is the biggest highlight of the Note FE with the support of 4096 pressure level, similar to the Galaxy Note 8. The S Pen is also water resistant with the device and works even under water.
Samsung has added in their premium flagship features such as Samsung Pay, wireless charging and with the new Bixby Home which is not introduced when the Galaxy Note 7 first launched. However, the Bixby can only be used to set up reminders, alarm and other similar task but not the advanced voice recognition assistant from the S8 and Note 8.
The Note FE will be available in Black and Coral Blue and comes with a price tag at RM2599. It is one of the most affordable Galaxy Note flagship with price tag less than RM3k.
