With several cases of battery incineration incident that resulted in global recall, Samsung has been making different efforts to make their customer return their existing Galaxy Note 7 for a full refund or an exchange to the Galaxy S7 Edge. While some users doesn’t comply with the recall instruction, Samsung Malaysia now limits the user experience of the Galaxy Note 7 with a capped maximum battery capacity at 30%.
As for today, Samsung has prompted its user that the Galaxy Note 7 will now able to recharge until a maximum battery level at 30% from 9PM today and users encouraged to backup data to prevent possible data loss.
This action further limits the basic functionality of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and it is advisable to return this smartphone if you haven’t.
