The newest Samsung Android flagship has officially launched in Malaysia today and it is packed with new display and features we have never seen before. As all pre-order units had sold out in just 3 days, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be available to purchase through all authorized Samsung distributor/ dealer and telco center.

In comparison with its predecessor, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus has a whole new Infinity Edge display along with near zero bezels and both completely ditches the conventional home button.
As there isn’t any front home button to integrate the fingerprint reader, the sensor is relocated to the rear panel, residing along with the camera module.
Meanwhile, its capacitive home button can lit up the display even when the smartphone is “asleep”, a function that is so essential for single handed operation in a large display smartphone.
There is also a new button dedicated to launch Samsung Bixby, the new Samsung automated voice assistant that can perform task without finger interaction.
The Malaysian version of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus comes with Exynos 8895 SoC along with 4GB of RAM, 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. The battery of the S8 is also expanded to 3000mAh while the S8 Plus has a 3500mAh battery.
In the meantime, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus rear camera captures up to 12 megapixels and retain surrounding lights with the large f/1.7 aperture. You can learn more about its camera on this review.
The Iris recognition sensor (first appeared on Note 7) and Samsung Pay service is also available on the new flagship as well.
Nonetheless, each Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will comes with premium in ear headphones by AKG by Harman.
There’s also a variety of smartphone case, wireless charging dock and other accessories available for these smartphones.
As for now, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus is currently available in orchid grey, black and gold.
