Soon after the launch of Galaxy S9, Samsung has shifted most of its focus to the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 smartphone which will be launched around Q4 2018. With a long tradition being a Samsung phablet flagship, it is no bizarre that the Note 9 will feature something spectacular. A new rumor among communities has pointed that the upcoming Samsung flagship might be powered by a newly developed Exynos 9820 processor that brings more performance into a smartphone.
According to a leak from Weibo, the new Exynos 9820 will be an upgrade from the 9810 in the Exynos 9 series that brings significant performance improvement over the previous generation. It might be the first to bring 5G cellular support and was build based on 7nm manufacturing process, on par with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.
While this seem to be some major breakthrough, Samsung might not make it available into the upcoming smartphone by this year. Nonetheless, the Galaxy Note 9 will be something to look on which will be unravel during September.
