With few more days till the arrival of Mobile Word Congress 2016 where Samsung will unveils their latest smartphones on the event, Samsung Mobile uploaded a new MWC teaser that display the evolution of Samsung mobile phones to smartphones today.
The video starts with the classical brick size “mobile” handheld smartphone introduced in the early 19th century. With the advancement of technology, the mobile phone are getting smaller in size and Samsung eventually introduced the first mobile watch (SPH-WP10), smallest TV phone (SCH-M2200), first MP3 smartphone (SPH-M2500) and followed by the S series and Galaxy Note series smartphone. The video ends with the Gear VR teaser with a caption “Who knows where progress will take us”.
The ending of the video also emphasized the future and importance of Gear VR and Samsung said that the S7 and S7 Edge will be broadcasted live through VR. Looks like virtual reality is the next major spotlight from Samsung in the future.
