To satisfy the demands for different photographers, Sony has launched 2 models on their G Master flagship lens line-up. The new lens from Sony are the FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS & FE 600mm F4 G, which highlights the zooming performance. It will be available from July.
The Sony FE 600mm F4 G fixed focus lens is equipped with a XA (super aspherical) lens and tree fluorite lens. Such zooming power overs the common telephoto lens in the industry. It also has 2 XD linear motor for fast, accurate autofocus with decreased noise. The overall weight of this lens is at 3.04kg and designed to be dust and moisture proof, ideally for capturing wildlife and sports.
As for the FE 200-600m F5.6-6.3 G OSS lens, it conssit of 5 ED (ultra low dispersion) lens and an aspherical lens to minimize chromatic aberration. This lens is compatibile with Sony 1.4 & 2.0x teleconverters to achieve maximal focal length at 849mm F9.
For its autofocus system, it is equipped with Sony DDSSM focusing system for fast, quiet focus and prevent noise alerting wildlife animals.
The FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS & FE 600mm F4 G OSS will be available from July onward & Sony has yet unveil the pricing.
