Earlier on, OPPO has announced their certification of 5G devices by SIRIM Malaysia which means Malaysia would have the first 5G smartphone soon. In the meantime, another 5G device has popped up in SIRIM which is also registered under OPPO. Could there be two 5G smartphones coming along?
The 2nd OPPO 5G smartphone was certified since 15th Jan this year. The 5G band is at 3500mhz which is same from the announcement made by OPPO. The new updated devices now supports 3500Mhz and 700Mhz which is entirely different device.
From the model name shown on SIRIM, it could be the OPPO Find X2 with model name CPH2025. The 2nd device is the CPH2023 which is allegedly linked to OPPO Find X2 with 4G and 5G variant.
Spec wise, rumor has it that it feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with Snapdragon X55 5G modem. More details await OPPO further announcement.
