The Android Nougat has been available for smartphone manufacturers few months ago. With that being said, the population of the new Android firmware still falls below average as most smartphone are stuck with old and outdated firmware years ago. However, the new Android Nougat firmware is now officially available on all Zenfone 3 models and user will receive an OTA upgrade notification.

The new firmware running Android Nougat is now packed with more features such as multi-windows, instant reply (via notification menu), switching between two apps by double tapping menu key, enhanced Doze battery saving technology and other optimization upgrades.
