The deca-core mobile processor era has arrived?

Last month, MediaTek released one of their greatest breakthrough on mobile processor – the Helios X20 processor. The processor was packed with 10 cores and comes with impressive benchmark scores up to 700000 on Antutu benchmark software. While everyone was celebrating the birth of the 10 core processor, Qualcomm also joined the hype by announcing the Snapdragon 818 which comes with 10 cores!

The Snapdragon uses a 20nm process with 4 Low Power Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.2Ghz, 2 mid power A53 cores clocked at 1.6Ghz and 4 high performance core clocked at 2.0Ghz. It also comes with Adreno 532 which could be a better graphical image processor than today.

Since the new Snapdragon 818 will be now relying on more cores, would it still suffer the overheating issues as observed on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor?
