The new Redmi 2A now comes with a better spec and priced the same

Few days ago Xiaomi has announced a new premium version of the Redmi 2, Redmi 2A Premium. The difference between the both are the processor, in which the Redmi 2A Premium is now powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 instead of Leadcore processor.

The previous Redmi 2A is powered by Leadcore L1860C processor clocked at 1.5Ghz along with Mali-T628MP2 graphical processor and 1GB of RAM. The new Redmi 2A comes with 2G of RAM and 16GB of total internal storage with the price remains the same.

With now comes in the Snapdragon 410 processor, the integrated Adreno 306 graphical processing unit of the new Redmi 2A also comes with significant upgrade which means better and smoother gameplay and video playing experience.



The premium spec Redmi 2A is now available on official Xiaomi website, but it’s unknown that when will it be officially imported into Malaysia mobile market. As the Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship will be soon unveiled, we might expect a lesser response for this entry level smartphone from Xiaomi.
