As the 2.5D glass are getting popular in smartphone display nowadays, “zero-bezel” could be a much familiar terms compared to many years ago while we stuck on TFT displays. The uses of those glass as display creates an illusion of bezel reduction, which leads to the idea of zero bezel smartphone. However, Sharp now redefines the definition of zero bezel. Their new series of AQUOUS smartphone, AQUOUS Crystal 2 has literary zero bezel beside the display.

The Sharp AQUOS Crystal 2 also features water resistant feature and Grip Magic technology. The Grip Magic technology can detects when the user is holding the phone and thus display the notification on the lockscreen. This smartphone also supports NFC and 4G LTE connection. Although it is a little pitiful where Sharp didnt implemented Full HD display into their system while being a display TV manufacturer, the AQUOS 2 is indeed a better upgrade than the previous predecessor in terms of the unique feature and specifiication.
