TIPA, or known as Technical Image Press Association, has announced their 2020 winner lately. The winner of the best camera smartphone goes to HUAWEI P40 series!
They have expressed that the
atest generation of HUAWEI P series smartphones has taken a big leap forward. All three smartphones-the P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro + are equipped with the Kirin 990 5G chipset and a large 1 / 1.28 inch sensor developed in cooperation with Leica.
Notable features of this series of models include artificial intelligence-based white balance algorithms and algorithms to optimize skin tones and textures, greatly enhanced dynamic range and low-light performance, color temperature sensors and full-pixel focusing capabilities, smooth zoom and image Quality optimized XD engine.
There are total of 4 Chinese brand won the 2020 TIPA award this year. In addition to the HUAWEI P40 series, the 100mm f / 2.8 2 × Ultra Macro APO won the “best digital SLR camera macro lens”; BenQ PhotoVue SW321C won the “best professional photo display”; Shenniu R1 won the ” “Best camera phone accessories”.
Previously, HUAWEI has received TIPA award for the last few year thanks to the HUAWEI P10 in 2017, P20 Pro in 2018 and P30 Pro in 2019. The P40 series sits on the 4th consecutive champion on this category.
