The development and growth of 5G devices and infrastructure has been progressing rapidly worldwide. In the MWC 2019 congress today, vivo has announced the iQOO 5G smartphone and a new vivo AR lens
iQOO 5G:
Specifications of this beat includes the Snapdragon 855, 12GB RAM and 44W quickcharge. The performance should be on par with ROG Phone and it is the first time that vivo brings Snapdragon X50 modem for 5G connectivity on the network.
Being equipped with 5G network, iQOO 5G supports 5G cloud gaming, 5G projection & EasyShare. As the name suggest, the 5G cloud gaming is designed for gaming on the cloud (less dependent on device performance) while 5G projection is to project the display remotely onto another screen. As for the 5G Easyshare, it allows two vivo 5G smartphone to transfer document without internet at 5G speed.
This smartphone will be available at Q3 2019.
vivo AR lens:
Apart from the 5G smartphone, vivo also launches the vivo AR lens which can be connected to vivo 5G smartphone. It instantly turns the smartphone into controller during gaming or a keyboard when working with office documents.
The vivo AR lens offers AR gaming, AR office, 5G motion cinema, facial recognition and object recognition. The AR lens will provide relative information of the person and the product, something similar with sci-fi movies.
You can also view your videos at a virtual 110″ display in 3D effects.
vivo has yet to announces launch date of this AR lens.
