As our local government & other telcos has pledges its effort to uplifting the network to cater 5G infastructure, it’s the best time for the first 5G smartphone to be introduced locally! vivo Malaysia has officially launched the vivo NEX 3 which is said to be the first 5G smartphone in Malaysia! Let’s have a look on the device during the launch.
First of all, the vivo NEX 3 brings a 6.89 inches Super AMOLED display and supports 100% P3 colour gamut, sRGB & HDR10 standard. The curvature of the display is as near as 90 degree and bezel are almost invisible!
This is one of the factor which makes the NEX 3 reaches screen to body ratio at 99.6%.
There are no physical buttons unlike conventional Android phone does. It is replaced with a Touch Sense pressure sensor that detects pressure via its 7 sensor located sideward. The power is completely isolated thus able to work even when the device is switched off.
The local variant comes with 8GB RAM, 256GB ROM and powered by state of the art Snapdragon 855 Plus from Qualcomm.
It has a 4500mAh sized battery with 22.5W quickcharge, liquid cooling technology and in-screen fingerprint sensor.
For its camera, it has a 64MP triple rear camera where the primary camera captures 64 megapixel resolution via its 1/1.7 inches primary camera. It was accompanied by a 13MP 120 degree wide angle camera and a 13MP macro camera. The camera combo supports 2x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom, Hyper-HDR mode.
The front camera comes with the modern elevating standards. It is a 16MP lens and able to extend/ retract in 0.65 seconds.
The official pricing of the vivo NEX 3 is at RM3899 which is available for pre-order from tomorrow (18th Oct) onward. Each pre-order will receive gifts worth RM699 which includes toiletries case, electric toothbrush, shaver and screen protection with warranty extension.
