The XPlay 5 is one of the latest premium flagship smartphone from Vivo which is set to be launched on the first of March 2016. It is also one of their first smartphone to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC along with 6GB of RAM. The Xplay 5 teaser images also show a stunningly beautiful curved display as seen on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S7 Edge.
The curved display on the XPlay 5 has a similar resemblance on the Galaxy S7 Edge. It is seen that the edge display is primarily used for the display of time, date and notification. It is also rumored that the XPlay 5 to features a 6 inches large 2K display panel and a 16MP and 8MP camera combination. If the rumored specifications of this smartphone are real, the Vivo XPlay 5 is going to be the first smartphone that comes with large 6GB RAM for extreme multitasking and entertainment purpose. The suggested pricing of this smartphone is at 3500 RMB which is roughly estimated at RM2200.
