Last week we have covered that Nokia has denied a highly anticipated rumor as Nokia will not be continuing developing smartphones after its agreement with Microsoft. As most of us are disappointing with this news, some of us started wondering what will be the next big thing that Nokia develops?
Just in today, the Nokia official website is updated with more features. There are 3 column listed as “Mobile network infrastructure software and services”, “Mapping navigation and location intelligence” and “Advance technology development and licensing”
Looks like Nokia is now moving towards software development of smartphone in terms of mobile network infrastructure and its well known map services! Although Nokia does not fully resurrected into smartphone production, being a part of the smartphone essential software is a good sign of rebirth.
