With the rising awareness of privacy, one of the most popular chat messenger WhatsApp has offered a new fingerprint sensor unlock feature on Android version. This feature addition is first available on iPhone some times ago.
To active, go to Settings > Account > Privacy > Fingerprint lock
However, you still can peek onto message on notification bar for Android devices. Maybe something to be improved later on?
