Months ago, Xiaomi has launched their largest display smartphone to date and the Mi Max is available in 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variant. Today, good news have been received from SIRIM database as 2 Xiaomi Mi Max model (2016001) has certified by SIRIM and it is expected to launch in Malaysia anytime soon. However, it is slightly unfortunate that the model certified by the SIRIM are the 2GB RAM Mi Max variant.
Xiaomi Max is a smartphone that comes with a 6.44 full HD display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 mid-range chipset to offers decent performance and its 16MP rear camera lives up the expectation. It also comes with a large battery with 4850mAh capacity that supports Qualcomm quickcharge technology.
Based on the details from the SIRIM database, the Mi Max that have been certified by SIRIM are the 2GB and 3GB RAM variant that comes with 16GB and 32GB of storage volume respectively. Hence, it is expected that the price might be slightly lower than the retail price from India (around RM889) and is estimated to be priced around RM600.
