On the Mi Jia smart home appliance launch event today, Xiaomi also launched the all new Mi Band 4. The new Mi Band comes with a new larger and colourful display. It is now added with payment features thanks to the NFC capabilities.
The Mi Band 4 sports a AMOLED color display with 39% larger display than the 3rd gen Mi Band. The display is also highlighted by the 2.5D glass.
Thanks to the AMOLED display, it now supports multiple theme and wristband. There are over 77 watchface theme to choose from.
The new Mi Band 4 now supports water resistant up to 50 meter. This mean the new Mi Band could be brought under water during swim. Besides, it also support up to 6 different exercise mode.
Plus, you also get to perform payment via the QR code shown on the displa.
Furthermore, the new Mi Band fully supports Xiaomi AI assistant “Xiao Ai” which can be triggered by swiping right. It will be able to recognize your voice command to control Xiaomi sweep robot, air conditioning and other IoT devices.
Official claims that the battery life could last up to 20 days (with heart monitoring turned on) and 15 days when NFC is activation.
As for its pricing, the Mi Band 4 is offered in 2 variant – the standard vs NFC enabled Mi Band. The standard version retails at RMB 169 (~RM101) while th eNFC version retails at RMB229 (about RM137). There is even an Avengers special edition which retails at RMB 349 (~RM210).
The Mi Band 4 will be first available to pre-order by tonight (China only) and retails from 14th June onward.
