With the huge success of their first generation powerbank, Xiaomi has launched their new generation of powerbank that promises advance technology, better quality for the same affordable price. Priced around RM99, the Xiaomi Powerbank 2 is now for sale in China and our content partner managed to grab one of it from the online store. Let’s have a quick review on its feature while we unbox it!
The new generation of Xiaomi powerbank comes with denser Li-Ion battery and is slightly thicker at 2.1mm. Its surface is no longer glossy and slippery like the last generation and the matte surface offers a better grip. There is also some performance upgrade such as the support of Qualcomm QC3.0 with power output at 5V/2.4A, 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A in which a Xiaomi Max with 4850mAh battery can be fully recharged in 2.5 hours.
Nonetheless, all the performance upgrade in the Xiaomi Powerbank 2 doesn’t change its retail price, which is currently at RMB149 (~RM99). Here comes the unboxing with the provided accessories!
