During IFA early this year, there is news revealed the upcoming launch of Kirin 985 and 990 SoC. Till today, we can only see Kirn 990 and 990 5G on existing market and now, the Kirin 985 is about to happen.

In the HUAWEI roadmap shown last year, this has shown proof the upcoming Kirin 985 and Balong 5000 consumer chip onto the market.

Another Weibo user has shown the difference between Kirin 985 and Kirin 820 5G. As it is announced that the HONOR 30S (coming 30th March) will be sporting the first Kirin 820 5G. and now HUAWEI Central has predicted that the Kirin 985 5G could be launched along with the HUAWEI Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro.
