OPPO Malaysia has officially launched the OPPO Reno 2 series today. The models launched today includes the OPPO Reno 2 standard unit and the OPPO Reno 2F. It adds new 48MP quad rear camera which is further added with Ultra Steady Mode, Bokeh Effect Video and more features to be played with.

OPPO Reno 2 uses an integrated 3D glass back cover. The obvious difference from the previous generation is from Reno’s rear dual shot to 48MP quad camera. It is color is available in black, blue and pink. The display is a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with screen to body radio at 93.1%
OPPO Reno 2 also sports Snapdragon 730G which is designed for gaming. Also there are 8GB RAM, 256GB ROM, in screen fingerprint, 4000mAh battery, VOOC 3.0 quickcharge, type C and 3.5mm jack.
The OPPO Reno 2 is equipped with a 48-megapixel IMX 586 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel black-and-white lens for a total of 4 cameras. The front lens retains the design of the side-swing lens. A 16 megapixel lens. The OPPO Reno 2’s rear lens supports the Ultra Dark Mode night shot function, as well as 5x hybrid zoom and up to 20x digital zoom.
OPPO Reno 2 has added two new features this time, namely Ultra Steady Mode video stabilization and Bokeh Effect Video real-time depth video. The former combines OIS optical image stabilization and EIS electronic image stabilization through AI algorithm and with the anti-shake effect of the stabilizer, the latter uses the large aperture effect generally used in portrait photography for film shooting, and the user can adjust the degree of blur in real time.
The OPPO Reno 2F brings Helio P70 in action with 48MP GM1 camera, 8MP wide angle, 2MP monochrome and 2MP portrait mode. There is 8+128GB combination but without NFC.
OPPO Reno 2 is priced at RM2299, Reno 2Z is RM1599, and OPPO Enco Q1 is RM599. The Reno 2 series can be pre-ordered from now until October 25th and will be officially launched on October 26.
