Since the launch of Nokia 5 worldwide, there are multiple users who express their dissapointment on the multitask performance on the Nokia 5 as it only offers 2GB of RAM. After evaluating the feedbacks from their fans, they had launched a new upgraded Nokia 5 with 3GB RAM and India is the first available country for the upgrade.
The Nokia 5 still sports the same Snapdragon 430 SoC, 16GB ROM, 13MP rear and 8MP front camera and runs on Android 7.1.1. The only changes in the new Nokia 5 is the RAM capacity which is now at 3GB, sufficient to run multiple RAM intensive task at once.
Currently, the new Nokia 5 can be seen on India e-commerce site Flipkart and available in black and blue with a price tag at INR13499 (~RM885). The availability of the Nokia 5 in Malaysia remains unknown.
