While their smartphone business has mostly given to Google, they are not giving up on making smartphones to catch up the new 5G era.
Previously, HTC has bring their own 5G products – 5G Mobile Smart Hub, something similar with Huawei 5G CPE. Previously, there has been rumor suggesting HTC is making their 5G smartphone. With their close collaboration with Qualcomm, it seems like their 5G smartphone is coming soon.
Few days ago, the infamous leaker Evan Blass has revealed that the HTC 5G smartphone shares the development project name ‘2Q6U’. There isn’t much helpful information on the device, however till date we only know that it supports Bluetooth 5.0.
By their close relationship with Qualcomm, it seems like they will be featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with its relative modem on their next flagship.
