Earlier today, HUAWEI has officially launched the nova 9 into the global market. As usual with their nova line-up, it will be a selfie focused mid-range smartphone and even comes with 50MP quad rear camera!
The nova 9 is as thick as 7.77mm, weighted at 175g and available in Starry Blue, Crush Green and Black color.
It has a 6.57 inches hole punch display with 1.07 billion colours, P3 color gamut and Delta E <1 color accuracy as well as supporting HDR10. It can also achieve display rate at 120hz and sampling rate at 300Hz with blue light filter mode.
For its camera performance, it uses a 50MP primary lens and accompanied by 8MP ultra wide angle, 2mP DoF and 2MP macro lens. The 50MP lens uses RYYB array pattern to capture image with 40% improvement in light detection while support XD Fusion Engine to increase image quality and brightness through AI algorithms. There is also a 32MP front facing camera for selfies.
To power for the entire day, the nova 9 is equipped with a 4300mAh battery to support the Snapdragon 778 4G SoC. The battery also supports 66W wired charging.
Undeniably this model will also runs on EMUI 12 based on Android 12 and supports NFC, in-screen fingerprint recognition and more. Pricing for this model will be revealed on 8th November.
