While Samsung has been rolling out global recall on their faulty Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, it’s unlikely that all buyer will go for one to one exchange of their smartphone although it possess certain risk. An earlier OTA upgrade has been rolled out to ensure that the faulty smartphone can be charged to a 60% limit and recently it has been shown that the battery can be recharged until 80% in the new OTA software update.
According to SamMobile, Samsung has now increased the battery charging capacity on the Galaxy Note 7 from 60% to 80%. User can now adjust the battery charging settings in the Advanced settings panel inside the setting menu.
