In the most recent news, the Sony Xperia flagship smartphones will be supporting 5G network starting from 2020 onward. Other than flagships, the rest will be supporting on the standard 4G network which is widely established worldwide.
There were also speculations where the 5G will be available and popularized in Japan while 4G and 5G will be remaining to be supported in device shipped to worldwide.
