Sony has notified their Xperia Z5 and Z5 Premium users with the upgrade to the new Android 7.0 firmware, and it is reported that the Android 7 has arrived for Xperia Z3+, Z3+ Dual today. The firmware features are same for both Xperia Z3+ and Z5 variant which includes multitasking windows, longer battery life (Doze battery saving mode), selfie can shutter and personalized user interface.
Sony has earlier announced the Android 7 upgrade list and the Xperia Z3+ is the oldest generation Xperia smartphones that can receive Android 7 upgrade. With Z5 and Z3 Plus has received the new firmware upgrade, its believed that Xperia Z4 variant will be receiving it soon.
