This time, Digi has bring their application demonstration on 5G metwork summit at Putrajaya today. They have shown their application in drone rescue services, AR education, VR games and more functional application.
With the aid of 5G network, it is possible to transmit large amount of information in a short period of time. Digi has showcased a Command Center Monitoring System (CCMS) which sent out rescue drone equipped with high definition camera for real time remote rescue. This will bring a significant advantage when performing search and rescue mission in unreachable area.
With the aid of AR and 5G it is possible to virtualize the surrounding which can be integrated into a real time education tool. It also offers higher interaction between users to convey complex information in a clear and easy manner.
The use of 5G mixed with virtual reality also enhances gaming experience. Games which requires real time action and communication will be greatly benefited with 5G network and VR.
Besides, Digi is also collaborating with Norway 5G telco company – Telenor. With their experience, this could enhances Digi strategy in 5G network within Malaysia.
