Apple launches Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro at RM1349, available on May

With the launch of iPad Pro yesterday, Apple also brings in the Magic Keyboard for the new iPad Pro. The 2nd generation Magic Keyboard “levitates” the iPad Pro which makes it ergo friendly for those who are sitting on the desk. This is unlike its first generation where the iPad needed to be held onto the the top of the keyboard.

The Magic Keyboard also brings new 1mm keyboard switch which brings fast and responsive typing and supported with back-lit keys. This means typing in the night or day shall no longer be a fuss.

There is also the integration of touch pad, something that we first seen on the Samsung Tab S series tablet keyboard. This allows easier navigation between apps and multi task at ease.

In the meantime, Apple also announces mouse and keyboard support for iPadOS 13.4. This eligible models of this upgrade includes all iPad Pro model, iPad Air 2, 5th generation iPad and iPad mini 4 and above.

However, the new generation of Magic Keyboard only supports 1st and 2nd generation of iPad Pro 11″, while the 3rd and 4th gen iPad Pro 12.9″ relies on third party keyboard maker.

This keyboard will soon be available in local market and the 11″ variant is at RM1349 while the 12.9″ is at RM1549. It will be made available from May onward.
