ASUS has been keeping their profile in a silent mode as they has not showcase any of their highlighted products on Mobile World Congress and Consumer Electronic Expo which happened last few months. It is because ASUS has been preparing to show their best on the Computex 2016 on June with the launch of their new flaghsip – ASUS Zenfone 3!
The new Asus Zenfone 3 is said to ditch the use of Intel x86 based mobile processor and instead hops in the Qualcomm Snapdragon as their powerhouse. Let’s have a quick look on the smartphone render below:
It is seems that the Zenfone 3 will come will an all new design which includes 2.5D glass, a fingerprint recognition sensor, laser AF and USB Type C connection port. However, the iconic design of the Zenfone series smartphone still retain in the Zenfone 3.
In terms of specification, the Zenfone 3 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 or 650, along with 5.5 and 5.9 inches variant. All variants to come with Full HD display panel with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera.
This also lead us to question why does Asus Zenfone smartphone ditches the use of Intel based mobile processor? Compatibility? End of contract? There could be much more that we knew.
