Celcom shows self-driving Proton Exora with speed up to 40kmh, 800m and 44GB of data!

The development of 5G has just grown even more aggressive last week. Celcom now shows their self driving car which is based on a Proton Exora model at Putrajaya recently.

This is a joint effort by Celcom and eMooVit and utilized state of the art hardware and 8 cameras to assist in scene recognition. It is tested on 15kmh drive and eMooVit stated that it could reach up to 40kmh. This has achieved level 4 autonomy.

 

This vehicle can transmit information between other vehicles and thus requires a vast network of connectivity. According to eMooVit, this 800m drive has recorded over 44GB of data.
