Google launches Chromebit – A pendrive-sized Chrome OS computer

Recently Google has launched their latest product – Google Chrombit which is a device that turns a TV into Chrome OS computer. The Chromebit appears similar as a oversized memory stick that contains Cortex-A17 CPU, Mali-760GPU, 2GB RAM and 16 of SSD storage. It also contains an HDMI connector that plugs into TV and monitor. The Chrome OS is capable of browsing internet, watching videos online, runs Android apps and can be used as a presentation equipment. The Chromebit also comes with USB slot for data transfer and a microUSB slot for charging.

The Google Chromebit is currently manufactured by Asus and expected to cost less than USD$100. These mini computers is expected to become a trend due to its portability and convenience.
