Despite the ARM ban, Huawei has somehow managed to obtain a permanent license on ARMv8 to manufacture its chip. China medias has now received media invites to witness the launch of new Kirin chip this May.
This Kirin chip is designed for entry level devices. Furthermore, the US & ARM ban doesn’t affect the manufaturing of future chip sets.
