Soon after the US sanction against Huawei, Huawei has aggressively developing their turnaround, including the possible launch of HongMengOS (Ark OS) and the rapid growth of Huawei App Gallery. One of the developer from XDA has recently received invites from Huawei to develop & launch app in App Gallery platform.
According to XDA, an anonimized developer has reveals an email from Huawei which welcomes them to join into the App Gallery ecosystem. Huawei claims that their App Gallery has a monthly active user at 270 million and will be giving full support to developer.

It is also no doubt that Huawei will pre-load the Huawei App Gallery application onto Huawei phones. They will also be assisting developers to migrate their app from Google Play Store into Huawei App Gallery.
