Recently, Malaysian Communications And Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has issued a statement stating that Malaysia will be become the first country to showcase the newly developed 5G network in the entire Asia. A recent report from local media has reported that MCMC has set the 5G deployment goal between 2021 to 2022.
According to reports, MCMC has shown the practicality of 5G network in the public and private infrastructure. This 5G summit will present with high end technology including unmanned self driving technology, aerial photography, Hologram, robotic arm, telemedicine diagnosis, real time e-sports streaming, virtual classrooms and more IoT gadgets.
Participating companies on the coming 5G summit includes Celcom, Digi, Ericsson, Huawei, Malaysia Automotive, Robotics & IoT Institute (Marii), Maxis, NokiaTelekom Malaysia, U Mobile, UTM and ZTE
