About 5 years ago OnePlus has launched their first mid-range OnePlus X and in 2020 OnePlus has just updated the mid-range successor with OnePlus Nord. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G along with a 6.44 inches 90Hz display, 48MP quad camera for less than RM2000.

OnePlus Nord is specifically available in black and its very striking blue. The design is overall conventional but it packs a 6.44 inch dual holepunch display with 90Hz refresh rate and up to 180Hz touch sampling rate. It also has a classic silent button and a USB Type C port that replaces 3.5mm audio jack.
The Snapdragon 765G is a SoC based on 7nm platform. Despite less advanced than the 800 series, it still supports 5G network which is capable in reaching 3.38Gbps. This phone is also paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM, a 4115mAh battery and 30T quickcharge. OnePlus claims that this phone can be charged 70% in just 30 minutes.
OnePlus Nord features a quad rear camera with primary lens with Sony IMX 586 sensor, 8MP ultra wide camera, 2MP macro lens and 5MP depth camera. The 48MP primary camera is exactly the same as the OnePlus 8!
The front facing camera is a 32MP Full HD camera along with 8MP ultra wide angle camera.
OnePlus also launched the OnePlus Buds that supports 30 hours of battery life, passive noise cancellation, low latency and available in blue, grey and white.
In short, the OnePlus Nord is available in 8+128GB and 12+256GB. It retails at RM1799 and RM2399. The 8GB variant is already available today while the 12GB variant retails from 25th August onward along with OnePlus Buds.
The OnePlus Buds will be be retail at RM399.
