Premium flagships today have been stuffed with more and more RAM and 6GB RAM is the new “industry standard” for the Android flagships especially those whom originated from China. To stand ahead of its competitor, Samsung has officially launched a special 6GB RAM edition Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus at Beijing, China yesterday to meet the industrial definition of high end smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus with 4G and 64GB ROM is currently priced at RMB5688 while the S8 Plus with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM is at RMB6988, which is roughly around RM4388. 

Regarding its specification, the new Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is no differ from the rest of the S8 Plus except with a larger RAM capacity at 6GB. The Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are offered in 4 unique colours, similar to those available in Malaysia. While 6GB RAM Samsung flagship could be somewhat a performance beast, its availability in Malaysia is unknown yet.
