With the mission to unify payments methods in local market, DuitNow has launched the DuitNow QR payment method which supports multiple e wallet platform. This feature is now open to banks and financial agency and Touch N Go e wallet is now supported!

Till today, there has been several agency supporting DuitNow system including Ambank, Public Bank, HSBC and more.

The main purpose of Duitnow QR is to create an electronic payment platform that is widely used by major electronic payment vendors in Malaysia, allowing users to pay more efficiently, and also allowing different ecosystems to transfer and pay between each other. You don’t need to open multiple electronic payment platforms, and you don’t need to bear the risk of changing platforms and it is supported universally.

According to Touch N Go statement, they will be supporting DuitNow on July 2020 and along with DuitNow QR to ease up transaction between banks and e wallets.

Apart from the above, other financial agency such as Maybank, OCBC, Grabpay and ShopeePay will be joining the DuitNow standard. Click here for more details on DuitNow.
