In the newest update by DxOMark, the newly launched ASUS ZenFone 6 has awarded with a selfie score at 98. This makes the ZenFone 6 sit right on the top of the selfie benchmark chart list.
All of this achievement were accounted by its rotatable camera which offers 48MP + 13MP wide angle lens to capture the best selfie.
The photography performance were awarded with score at 101 while the videography is at 93.
According to DxOMark, ASUS ZenFone 6 is able to retain high amount of details in the picture with great facial noise reduction. The autofocus is accurate at all distance and has great control over the white balance.
As for its cons, the depth of field of this selfie camera is insufficient when taking a group photo. They also commented that the exposure is occasionally unstable and a red-eye phenomenon occurs during flash. Furthermore, the depth of field might not be that functional in low light environment.
As for videography, DxOMark commented that the ZenFone 6 can retail great facial details in in door or light sufficient environment. There is still some unstable autofocus and frame skipping which happens occasionally. Same goes to the depth of field which is not performing that well when taking a group video.
