Huawei brings Matebook X Pro 2019 & Matebook 14 from RM5541

Apart from revealing their 5G foldable Mate X, Huawei also launched the Matebook X Pro 2019 and Matebook 14! Both comes with minor upgrade in their series while Mate 14 is an all new Huawei mid-range notebook.

The newest update includes the same 13.9″ FHD LTPS display and ultra narrow bezels with screen to body ratio at 91%.

  

As for the hardware, the Huawei Matebook X Pro 2019 has upgrade the processor to new 8th generation Intel Whiskey Lake Core i5-8265U and i7-8565U processors. It also offers 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics card, up to 16GB RAM and 512GB. SSD and Matebook X Pro 2019 also provides a full-speed Thunderbolt 3 interface, support for external RTX 2080 graphics card, in addition to a USB-C interface, a USB 3.0 interface and a headphone jack but without external video connection port

In addition, the Huawei Matebook X Pro 2019 is equipped with the same Shark Fin 2.0 cooling technology as the Matebook 13 and supports both active and passive cooling modes (turning fan off and on)

 

On the software side, Huawei said that the Matebook X Pro 2019’s touch screen will support new gestures such as three fingers sliding down the screen, shaking the phone to start recording and so on. At the same time, the Matebook X Pro 2019 will also support the Huawei Share One Hop function. Just put the Huawei phone on the device to initiate high-speed file transfer at a speed of 30MB per second! . In addition, the Huawei Matebook X Pro also supports the Clipboard Sharing function. Once connected to the Huawei mobile phone, you can copy & paste data between the two devices!

In terms of battery life, Huawei said that the Matebook X Pro 2019 is equipped with a 57.4WHr battery. If it is only used for Internet access, it can reach a maximum of 12 hours. It is a level that does not need to be charged all day.

On its hardware, the Huawei Matebook 14 is equipped with the 8th generation Intel Whiskey Lake Core i5-8265U and i7-8565U processor, up to 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics card, up to 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. The configuration is not much different from the Matebook X Pro 2019. The only difference is in battery life and interface. The Matebook 14 has only about 10 hours of battery life and the Thunderbolt 3 interface has been removed and replaced with an HDMI interface.

In addition , Huawei also released few 5G routers including 2 home routers and a portable router. In addition to the Huawei Balong 5000 5G chip, it also supports the new Wi-Fi 6 standard. It can achieve maximum download speed at 4.8Gbps.

 

The price of the Huawei Matebook X Pro 2019 will start from €1599   (about RM7390), and the price of the Matebook 14 will start from €1199  (about RM5541).
